Learn more about our mission to clean and track trash in our communities!
Our mission is simple: to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in nature. We believe that every person can make a difference by changing daily habits and rethinking our relationship with trash. But, let's face it, one of the major problems at the heart of the trash crisis is the fact that we don't design much "really" recyclable packaging...so we also want to hold producers accountable at the source. That’s why we are developing an app that lets you report the types of trash you find outdoors. We’ll identify the brands responsible for the packaging, share the data with them, and provide advice to help inspire change. At the same time, we welcome all kinds of ideas to help tackle this problem, from practical and simple to bold and creative. Waste overproduction is a collective issue, and everyone should have a voice in solving it. Let's be civic together.
Too often we act as if our trash disappears like magic, but it doesn’t. We produce too much and take too little responsibility. Our goal is to change behaviors and our relationship with waste through education.
We must reduce use problematic of materials that end up in our waste, like single-use plastics, and replace them with viable, sustainable alternatives such as biomaterials.
We need to remove the waste already in nature (by 2050, there will be more plastics than fish in oceans) and take care of our environment.
