By accessing or using the Civic Raccoons website or mobile application, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

The app is intended for individuals aged 16 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16.If we become aware that we have collected personal data from an individual under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information.

3. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Engage in harassment, abuse, hate speech, or illegal activities.
• Upload offensive, violent, explicit, or unlawful content.
• Submit false reports intentionally.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and suspend or permanently delete accounts at our discretion.

4. User-Submitted Content

By uploading photos, reports, or other content, you grant Civic Raccoons a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content for educational, promotional, research, or advocacy purposes.

You confirm that the content you submit does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

We may collect:

• Name and email address
• Information you voluntarily submit
• Location data (only if you provide consent)

Location data may be used to center maps, suggest events, and improve community-based features.

You may withdraw consent and request deletion of your data at any time by deleting your account within the app or by contacting info@civic-raccoons.ca.Certain data may be retained for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes as required by applicable law.

6. Participation Disclaimer

Participation in cleanups, challenges, workshops, or events is voluntary. Civic Raccoons is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation.
